Greg Blecha

Gregory Lynn Blecha was born on November 2nd, 1964, in Pawnee City, Nebraska. His parents were Bob Blecha and the late Donna Svanda. Greg’s former wife, Yvonne Williams, remain very close. They have two daughters: Nicole Wilken and Natalie Judge and husband, Justin Judge.
Greg attended grade ad high school in Pawnee City Public Schools, graduating in 1983. At age 10, Greg got his first instrument: A trombone. It wasn’t a point if he would play in the band, but a point of what instrument he should. Around the age of 11, Greg made up his mind to play the tenor sax. However, after going to tell his band teacher the news, it was decided that he would play the trombone.
Greg played his first dance at age 13 on New Years Eve 1977, in Virginia, Nebraska. That was when he became a full-time member of Bob Blecha and the Bouncing Czechs.
While in high school, Greg at age 16 was selected to tour six countries for 30 days with students from every state. A 100-piece band from the USA.
